Bell was the pseudonym used by the Artist Wilfrid Knox (1884 - 1966), who specialised in pictures of clippers, coastal scenes and some landscapes. His main work was painted in the 1920's to 1950's period. The outside of the frame measures approx. 560mm wide x 460mm high. This original watercolour, is signed by the Artist and dated 1939 (the 3rd digit of the date is not totally clear).
